So we might be feeling slightly fuzzy this morning (there may have been wine involved…) but one thing is certain – the Jetpack crew had a fantastic time last night at the Arthur C. Clarke award, which was attended by the great and good of the SF publishing industry.
Many congratulations to all the shortlisted authors, and especially to Chris Beckett who scooped the award for his novel Dark Eden. And a special shout-out to Tom Hunter, who as always organised a wonderful evening. The Clarke award has never been healthier.
Anyway, here’s some photos of our night!

Paul and myself with Nick Harkaway, shortlisted for his novel Angelmaker. His suit was so dazzling that he had to close his eyes for the photo.
